New by Illamasqua
I always get excited about Illamasqua’s new season collections. The colours, the promo shots and the way Alex Box uses her unique creative vision to apply make up never fails to amaze me.
For Autumn/Winter Illamasqua has introduced their new collection called Theatre of the Nameless. Think pure opulence, decadence and winter glamour. The collection is so strong you’ll be lusting after every piece.
First up is the new blusher in morale (rose pink) which has fast become my favourite must-have. The colour, the intense pigment and the gold specks define the cheeks whilst adding a sexy shimmer.
I really like Illamasqua’s nail polishes (colour swatches above). Not only are the new shades hot, hot, hot but the long lasting, non-chip formula means the colour stays on so you can avoid having to do daily touch-ups.
Kink (bottle green)
Faux Pas (blue violet)
Vice (deep cerise)
Taint (stone brown)
The new lipstick in Kontrol (blue violet) will make you stand-out. The intense dark and sultry shade as worn by Jenny Hayden (Assistant Content editor) pictured above, is definitely a colour for the daring and confident woman. If you prefer glosses, the new intense lipglosses in Facade (grey pink) and Violate (dark green) gives a high-shine finish to your pout without the stickiness.
The cream pigment in Depravity (magenta) can be worn on the lips and cheeks. I adore this intensely pigmented purple shade, it glides on effortlessly and is easily blendable and buildable. You don’t need to use too much, a little goes a long way. Also available in Androgen (coral).
For the eyes, Illamasqua has introduced Masquara (love the name). The formula dramatically lengthens and defines each and every lash. I applied a few coats to get a flirty false-lash effect.
This collection won’t disappoint.
