Coming Soon from Illamasqua

Illamasqua has wowed us yet again with their irresistible Toxic Nature collection for Spring/Summewr 2011, and the other day I was lucky enough to test the products out.

Like nature itself, the collection is a wonderful mix of mint, mushroom, plum, orange and rose combined with rich textures and pops of acid-infused brightness.

The most impressive products from the collection is the range of cream pigments that can be used on your eyes, lips and cheeks.  The smooth texture glides on and is so easy to blend to any level of intensities.  The colours themselves are extremely playful, you can mix and match easily and have fun experimenting.

The shades and how best to wear them:
The Hollow – This toffee shade is perfect as a contour on paler skintones. It also works brilliantly as an eye shadow base on olive – darker skintones.

Delirium – This rose taupe shade is fantastic for contouring pale – olive skin tones, as well as healthy flush to all skintones as a blusher and as a soft lip colour.

Mould – Because every Spring collection needs a touch of darkness, this grape is stunning as a base for a smoky eye or intense, statement lip.

Emerge – This peach brightens under eye shadows and is beautiful as a highlighter on olive – darker skintones. It’s also a very flattering blusher on paler skin tones.

Bedaub – This mint green is a wonderful eye base, and is flattering on all skintones.

Dab – This gentle lilac is beautiful for eyes lips and cheeks, especially for a 60s look.

The collection also features,
The Precision Ink in ‘Glister’ which allows you to create the glitter eyeliner or eyelid trend easily and effectively. The best bit… you don’t have to keep re-applying, the Glister has ultimate staying power.

Intense Lipsticks in Atomic – Fuchsia violet, Flare – Bright orange and sheer Lipgloss in Torture – Coral Peach and Divine – Fuchsia Pink. These intense colours and formulas pack a lot of punch so you can make the ultimate lip statement.

For the nails whether it’s toxic pastels or unmissable neons you can colour-up your nails with confidence.

I’m predicting this collecton is going to be huge – you haven’t seen a mix of colours quite like these before.

The Toxic Nature collection will available in store and online soon. In the meantime shop online now to get your Illamasqua fix.

Hi, my name is clare and I was recently in the Debenhams in Glasgow and found that they had Illamasque in the branch up there. I would reccommend the make up to all my friends.
I am not a fan of internet shopping and would like to know the branches round me that have Illamasque in. Hopefully you can answer if not, thank you anyway.

    Great makeup, love it.
