Hot Right Now…Graphic Expressions Collection by Clarins
This afternoon the new Autumn/Winter 2013 make up collection by Clarins landed on my desk and although I don’t want summer to over just yet, it has got me excited about the season ahead.
Available in store and online The Graphic Expressions Collection as it’s known is the perfect balance between intense colour, taupe-inspired hues and satin finishes so that you can create defined and intensified eyes.
The Crayon Kohl Eye Pencils will be available in a variety of highly pigmented colours including Intense Black, Blue, Violet and Brown. My favourite is ‘Smoky Plum’, the deep violet hue with a metallic finish makes eyes pop in an instant. Apply inside the lower lash line or around the eye contour area, then use the brush side to blend. You’ll love the creamy texture too.
For Autumn/Winter the new Joli Rouge Lipsticks in Pink Camelia, Royal Plum and Spicy Cinnamon are bang-on trend and great for creating bold dramatic lips or a more petal stained matte effect.
The hero piece for me is the Limited Edition Face Blush Powder that features three universal shades. The light beige illuminates, the darker beige evens out the skin tone, the coral pink blush sculpts while the veil of gold adds a touch of light. It can be used on all skin types.
There will also be a new Eye Quartet Mineral Palette which opens up to reveal 4 shades including khaki green, satin taupe, intense bronze and a pale gold. The earthy colours are perfect for Autumn.
PLUS, we have some great news. The popular 3-Dot-Liner which created a beauty buzz in 2012 will be back for good. You don’t need me to tell you how good it is, see for yourself by watching the ‘How to’ video below.
