I love this time of year – the new season is about to start and you can kit out your make up bag with the latest beauty products including a new foundation that will see you through Autumn/Winter.

Here’s a run down of the latest foundations.

Dior Nude – natural Glow Radiant Foundation
This hydrating fluid foundation gives you just the right amount of coverage to create a naturally flawless, bare-skin effect. The foundation contains 100% natural active ingredients and exclusive translucent Nude-Glow pigments allowing the skin’s natural radiance and colour to shine through and appear wonderfully luminous in any light.

Bobbi Brown – Long Wear Even finish Foundation
Another natural-looking and long-wearing foundation. Comfortable and hydrating, this medium to full coverage oil-free formula never looks cakey or masky. Glycerin and shea butter keep skin feeling moisturised while a gel base creates a lightweight finish that stays colour-true. Lasts for up to 12 hours even in the most humid conditions. Protects skin from future damage thanks to broad spectrum SPF 15 with antioxidant vitamins C and E.

Origins – Plantscription SP15 Anti-aging Foundation

Following on from the success of the Plantscription anti-aging serum Origins has used the same powerful anti-aging Anogeissus ingredient and put it into their new foundation. Now you can enjoy instant age-and-pore-correcting perfecting SPF that helps to prevent future ageing signs plus coverage and colour that stays true for hours.

Urban Decay – Naked skin Foundation
Feels like wearing nothing, yet Naked Skin transforms your complexion. Skin looks natural, illuminated and bright with a luminous demi-matte finish. This foundation is oil-free, paraben free and formulated with light-diffusing spheres that literally make you look professionally retouched.

Finding the right foundation can be ‘mission impossible’ but don’t worry help is at hand. Simply pop into your local Debenhams store and ask one of our beauty experts on counter. Most of our brands also have clever tools and techniques to help you to discover your true colour match. For instance, Estee Lauder’s counter uses a clever iMatch system.

iMatch consists of two tools, the iMatch Makeup Shade Finder that determines your skin tone from 1 to 5  and the undertones of you skin – warm, neutral or cool and the iMatch Makeup Finder that considers the benefits and coverage you want from your foundation so you can also get the right formula.
