Life made fabulous…

From today you’ll be able to see the brand new Debenhams advertising campaign for Autumn/Winter 2011. Our TV adverts encapsulate ‘Life Made Fabulous’ with our Designers at Debenhams collections.
Whether you love the ’70s glam look of Star by Julien Macdonald, the retro casual cool of H! by Henry Holland, the ’60s pop trend from Principles by Ben de Lisi or the easy luxe appeal of the Rocha.John Rocha collection, there’s a style to suit every woman.
Plus, don’t forget those all important finishing touches. I’ve put together some beauty essentials for each of our trends so you can look fabulous from head-to-toe.
70′s glam look

For this look think ultimate grown-up glamour with a 70′s twist. The complexion is flawlessly creamy, eyes are accentuated with sweep of jet liquid black eyeliner and lips and nails are painted in a matt red or deep berry.
I recommend: Clarins Everlasting Foundation, Estee Lauder Double Wear Zero Smudge Liquid Eyeliner, Rouge G de Guerlain Jewel Lipstick compact in gala or greta, Diorshow Black out mascara, YSL La Laque nail polish in Extreme purple or purple rose.
Retro casual
For this look start by creating a flawless complexion. Use a foundation primer to even out the skin tone and then apply a foundation that leaves a natural and radiant finish. Use a brown eyeliner pencil and smudge to create a soft smokey eye look, add a flush of colour to the apples of the cheeks and finally coat the lips with a deep rust lipstick for a touch of glam.
I recommend: bareMineral Prime Time Brightening Foundation Primer, Lancome Le Teint Miracle liquid foundation, Elizabeth Arden Colour Intrigue Eyeliner in bronze, Clinique Gradient powder blush in Black Honey, Bobbi Brown Lip color in Rich Cocoa
60′s pop
This trend focuses on colour blocking with bright ruby red and blues set against a backdrop of black and camel. As a result make up should be kept minimal to avoid colour clashing. For the face use a barely-there foundation or a tinted moisturiser. Coat the lashes with mascara and add a pinch-perfect flush of colour to the cheeks. Lips can go one of two ways – keep them nude or give them a natural pop of colour.
I recommend: Clarins HydraQuench Tinted Moisturiser, Hypnose Doll Eyes Mascara, MAC Powder blush, Clinique Long Last lipstick in Blushing Nude Soft shine
Luxe appeal

This look is all about luxurious textures. Complement the style by firstly grooming and shaping the brows. Eyelids can be left bare with just a hint of highlighter to the top of the lids. Alternatively, add some colour to the lids with Urban Decay’s Naked Palette that features a range of colours including office-appropriate neutrals, gorgeous bronzes and sultry greys. Give cheeks a flush of colour with Estee Lauder’s Signature satin creme blush and finally coat the lips with a coloured lipgloss.
The first airing of the adverts will be tonight (Wednesday 31 August) during Emmerdale. Watch out for it in the ad breaks of this weekend’s X Factor show too.
