Oscar night…The best beauty looks

Today at Beauty Club Tower’s there’s only one thing we’re talking about – The Oscars. Who wore what, who was the best dressed, who was the worst dressed and what makeup looks rocked on the Red Carpet.

Here’s the lowdown on our favourite highlights:

Gwyneth Paltrow – The gorgeous Gwyneth opted for a natural radiant glow that was so simple yet highly effective. Her makeup Artist Lesley Lopez told Elle magazine that she used St Tropez on Gwyneth to give her barely-there sunkissed tan and a hyper-real sheen to her skin. To get the look use St. Tropez Wash Off Mousse to the body and face and St. Tropez Skin Illuminator to accentuate her arms, legs, cheekbones, chest and shoulders.

Mandy Moore and Jennifer Hudson – Orange-toned lips are a hot trend this season and both Mandy Moore and Jennifer Hudson showed us just why. The pop of colour to the lips looked stylish, sophisticated and bang on-trend. I recommend using  Rouge G de Guerlain Serie Noire Lipstick in Orange Euphorique, Diorific High Fashion Lipstick in Cancun Orange and Estee Lauder’s Pure Color Long Lasting lipstick in Wild Coral or Wild Fire.

Michelle Williams - Wow – what can I say, Michelle looked fabulous with her sparkling glitter eyeliner that she wore under the eyelid. It was such a fresh look and I’m predicting this will soon become a popular trend over the next few weeks. I recommend using Urban Decay’s Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner and Red Herring’s Glitter Eye Liners.

Anne Hathaway – We saw a lot of red on the red carpet last night. I particularly liked Anne Hathaway’s strapless red dress teamed with a stunning diamond necklace. And, to complete the look she wore a vibrant red lipstick that made her look like a true Hollywood star. To get the look use Dior Rouge Lipstick in Ara Red, YSL’s Rouge Pur Pure lipstick in Sublime Red and Illamasqua’s lipstick in Sangers.
