Prepare the skin for Autumn
With Autumn/Winter just around the corner it’s time to start prepping the skin for colder climes.
Rejuvenate the skin
Twice a week use Fruit Active Rejevenating Mask by Elemis. This creamy mask is ideal for intensely hydrating the skin to help keep those irritating dry patches at bay. Packed with active extracts of mouth-watering Strawberry and Kiwi fruit the mask deeply cleanses to also restore the glow back into dulled complexions.
Moisturise more
Moisturising is vital no matter what season it is, however in Autumn it’s important to moisturise day and night to protect your skin. The moisturisers I recommend for the day are Extra-Firming Day Cream by Clarins and Pro-Collagen Marine Cream by Elemis. Both work hard to keep your skin feeling hydrated.

For the night I highly recommend Génifique Repair Youth Activating Night Cream by Lâncome. This crème de la crème of face creams combats premature ageing while you sleep and leaves skin feeling incredibly soft and rejuvenated.

Protect your hands
Don’t forget to carry around a hand cream. My favourites are the Shea Butter Hand Cream by L’Occitane and Eight Hour Intensive Moisturising hand cream by Elizabeth Arden. Both nourish and moisturise your hands to keep them feeling soft and smooth.

Get a golden glow
If you like to have a golden sun-kissed glow all year round then opt for a bronzer. A bronzer gives you a healthy golden glow and evens out your skin tone. Terracotta Lady by Guerlain is the one I can’t live without. The ultra-iridescent powder comes in a universal pink copper shade with subtle shimmer and suits all skin types.

Create a flawless base
As the weather gets colder your tan will fade which means the foundation you wore in the summer may be too dark for Autumn. Try on foundations in a natural light to ensure your perfect match.
