Strive for Pore-fection

Mid 30 celebrities including Victoria Beckham, Gwyneth Paltrow and other Hollywood A-Listers have reportedly been using products to conceal the appearance of large pores.

Large pores can be caused by genetics and age.  As you get older, environmental factors such as  sun damage and decreased skin elasticity can cause pores to dilate. The good news is that the appearance of large pores can be  reduced and there are many pore-specific products to help the skin look clearer.

Before I give you a run-down of my favourite pore-minimisers, here’s a few handy skincare tips to hep keep those pseky pores at bay:
Keep you skin clean – Wash, cleanse and tone your face twice daily. Pores get worse when excess oil and daily grime gets trapped in the skin.
I recommend using: Origins zero oil deep pore cleanser and the Biopur pore reducing range.

Exfoliate – Use a gentle facial scrub to remove skin’s dead surface to reveal softer and healthier looking skin.
I recommend using: Bliss Pore perfecting facial polish, Burt’s Bees Peach & Willow bark deep pore scrub, Sanctuary Exfoliating pore refiner and Natio Pore Unclogging Face Scrub.

My favourite Pore-fector Products:
Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Correcting Serum -Instantly makes skin look smotther. Contains Pore Resurfacing complex, which quickly clears out debris and rough flakes.

Estee Lauder Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher – This intensive yet gentle oil-free serum featuring exclusive Triple- Optic Technology instantly illuminates skin for immediate radiance.

Clarins Pore Minimizing Serum – An exceptional formula that slows down oil production, reduces the appearance of dilated pores and their changing condition over time to ensure a flawless skin texture.

Givenchy Skin Targetters Pore Minimizer Serum- An amazing serum that transforms skin texture, tightens pores and eliminates imperfections. Leaves the skin polished, velvety soft and flawless.

Dior Hydralife Skin Pore Refining Perfecting Moisturizer – Enriched with natural skin-perfecting minerals including Mallow plant acid that works hard to even out the skin tone.

Benefit the porefessional pore minimiser – Apply this silky, lightweight balm for translucent pore coverage and smoother-than-smooth skin.

I also highly recommend using Bliss Pore-fector gadget. This multi-tasking tool is powered by sonic vibrations that helps to  to power-wash pores and eliminate impurities like dirt, oil and debris. Use lower-level vibrations help to massage treatments and moisturisers onto the skin’s surface.

You can also help to minimize pores with just a few clever make up tricks:
* Prep the skin with Urban Decay Pore Perfecting Primer Potion. This stops foundation from seeping straight into your pores.

* Liquid foundation tends to soak straight into your pores so opt for a cream-to-powder foundation.

* Dust your face with a Estee Lauder Lucidity Translucent loose powder to give skin an even-toned appearance.
