Today’s Glam-mum is…Jacqui Wilsher-Ellis
At Debenhams we have many glam-mum’s on the go and I think that it’s time we celebrated these inspirational women.
Our first glam-mum is Jacqui Wilsher-Ellis who is the Divisional Sales and Space Planning Controller for Debenhams cosmetics.
Although she’s a mum of 2 and her job means she’s constantly working, working, working, everytime I see her she’s always looking gorgeous with flawless makeup.
So, I was luky enough to find a spare two minutes in Jacqui’s busy schedule to interview her on her makeup and beauty regime, so that you too can steal her secrets.
How old you are?
In the later stages of my 40′s (ouch) but I know you would never have guessed!
How many kids do you have?
Two beautiful girls aged 14 & 16
What’s your daily skincare regime?
Cleanse and moisturise are my must-do’s I currently use Pro Collagen Marine Cream by Elemis – which by the way is my favourite skin care brand ever. I also use Estee Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair Eye Recovery Complex and Genefique Youth Activating Concentrate by Lancome.
What makeup do you use?
For makeup I love bareMinerals Foundation as it gives full coverage, a flawless finish plus it cares for my skin. For eyeliner and mascara and blusher I use Givenchy – which are totally fab. For blusher I use Mac (available from selected debenhams stores) – I just love the range of colours from subtle to striking. I use various lip glosses but for that perfect pout I use the bareMinerals Buxom Lips.
What do you keep in you make-up bag?
Numerous lip glosses, eyeliners, blushers and mascaras in an array of day to night colours plus the most iconic favourite product ever – Yves Saint Laurent’s Touche Eclat.
Any secret tips you have to looking great?
Smile….! Personally I feel good if my hair looks good and if I do nothing else I always apply mascara and lip gloss.
How do you go from a day look to an evening look?
I apply eye shadow which I don’t normally wear as not very good at applying, thicker eye liner and more mascara, and the most important ingredient a glass of wine …

At my age there isn’t just one thing but if I really couldn’t go without a moisturiser, mascara, straighteners and, and, and…
