Winning Oscar looks
The Oscars didn’t fail to disappoint in terms of Red Carpet glamour. A-listers wore the most stunning designer dresses with perfectly styled tresses and picture-perfect make up. Here are three of my favourite looks.
Pure Hollywood Glamour
My absolute favourite was Angelina in Versace. The floor-length black velvet gown was split at one side and there was no over-accessorising or styling. The focus was very much on the dress itself and her incredible make up. The base was natural and radiant, her eyes were flicked out and her red lips looked amazing. To create the look I recommend: Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer, Estee lauder Double Wear Light Stay in-Place Makeup, Diorliner precision eyeliner, Guerlain Rouge G de Guerlain Jewel Lipstick in gipsy.
A Natural Beauty
This season the fresh-faced natural look is bang on-trend and Gwyneth has managed to perfect this look. I love the way she has accentuated her features with just a flush of blush to the apples of the cheeks and a touch of bronzer to the forehead, chin and bridge of the nose. The soft peach colours gives her face a natural warmth. To create this look I recommend: Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Skin Protectant, Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Soft Duo Bronzer, Lancome Teint Ultra 24hr Foundation, Lancome Blush Subtil Classic Blusher, Dior Addict Lipstick in Miss Dior.
A Golden Goddess
It’s hard to believe that this Oscar winning actress in 62 years old. Meryl won the award for Best Actress for her portrayal of former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher in the film Iron Lady. It’s hard to believe that Meryl is 62 years old. She dazzled in her metallic eco-friendly gold Lanvin dress and her make up was fresh and uncomplicated. Love the up-do too. To create this look I recommend: Prevage advanced anti-ageing serum, YSL Touche Eclat, Clarins Everlasting Foundation, Givenchy Prisme Visage blusher in peach plumetis, Clarins Rouge Hydra Nude Smoothing cream lipstick in coral.
