The humble bathroom. Once just a place to freshen up or relax in a welcoming bath but it should be treated much better than that.
Your bathroom should become a sanctuary and a pleasure for you, and your guests, that leaves you with a smile on your face.
Now we don’t suggest you have to pipe in the latest mood music or have a full-time masseuse on the premises.
But you can add subtle touches that can make a terrific difference and present a bathroom worthy of your singing in the shower.
A definite addition is a stylish cabinet. Regardless of your opinion on bathroom etiquette, one thing we can all agree on, there is nothing worse than having products strewn everywhere.
It looks untidy and you can never find anything. Why not go some way to correcting this with a red metal bathroom cabinet from Ben de Lisi.
Should you spill anything though, it’s always good to have a study mat. And if you have a tiled floor a mat could save your life.
Debenhams offer a great purple striped bath mat that will stand the test of time, while you stand and dry yourself.
So we’ve tidied up the bathroom and made sure you can stand up too. Now what are going to do with the hand lotion, toothbrushes, soaps, razors and other bits and pieces?
Easy. Invest in these stainless steel bathroom accessories from J by Jasper Conran – you get a bin, soap dish, toilet brush, tumbler, soap pump and cotton wool jar.
But there’s one item no bathroom should be without. That’s a moveable mirror. This decorative pedestal mirror is great for the job.
After all, there’s nothing worse than leaving the house with toothpaste all over your face.
