Urban Decay just launched its latest addition to the Naked collection: Urban Decay Ultimate Basics. The much anticipated palette is one of the most versatile in the collection, offering a range of beauty looks from super natural to smouldering.

To celebrate the launch of the new palette, we tried out two different beauty looks to find out just how versatile it really is.

How to create the look:

Eyes:

1. Prime the eyes with Original Eyeshadow Primer.

2. Take ‘Pre-game’ and ‘Nudie’ on a large eyeshadow brush and apply all over the lid as a base colour.

3. Under the brow bone apply ‘Blow’ lightly to create a subtle brow highlight.

4. Then take ‘Faith’ on a blending brush slightly higher than the natural socket line as a transition colour.

5. Intensify the crease by taking ‘Extra Bitter’ and blending outwards

6. Re-prime the lid with a flat eyeshadow brush and set with ‘Nudie’

7. Using the small end of the NUB brush, work ‘Lethal’ and ‘Black Jack’ into the ‘outer v’ and blend inwards to the crease to create more definition.

8. Use 24/7 glide on pencil in ‘Zero’ to line the upper and lower lash line and smudge outwards using ‘black jack’ to create a softer winged out look.

9. Finish by layering Perversion Mascara for the perfect sultry eye.

Skin:

10. Prep skin with B6 prep Spray and brightening and tightening primer

11. Apply All Nighter foundation all over the face with the flat optical blurring brush to get a modern matte finish.

12. Taking ATF 24/7 pencil concealer, apply with domed concealer brush under the eye to slightly highlight.

13. Take Medium Neutral Powder foundation to set.

14. To sculpt the face use ‘Bronzed’ Beached Bronzer across the forehead, under the cheekbones and around the jaw.
