Can’t cope without a cape

Cape trend

This Autumn there is one thing that’s firmly on my fashion radar. I’m just itching to get myself a cape! Ponchos come in a close second, but it’s the cape that really has my heart.

Why you ask? Well, my renewed love affair began at our AW10 press show where a H! by Henry Holland cape jumped out at me like cupid to steal my heart. You might think I’m exaggerating, but I really have thought of nothing else since.

The best bit about capes is that they look effortlessly stylish over tops and dresses. For a cool casual style a hooded cape especially the one by H! by Henry Holland is the best option. For a dramatic and glamorous look try faux fur capes by Debut. They look fab as a statement piece in the day or make a glamorous cover-up for special occasions.

Capes this season come in various shapes, lengths and finishes so you can find one to suit your individual style. Plus, they suit everyone, so no matter how old you are everyone can wear the cape trend. I love it!

I am glad it’s not just me searching for this! I’ll let you know if I find it! Have you had any luck in store?

Hi ladies, the grey military cape is available in selected stores now. It’s Red Herring but has been very popular so some stores may be sold out. If you are still struggling, do contact customer services who will be able to look into which stores have it.
