Debenhams Customer Service at Christmas

BY STYLE EDITOR, ON 21 DEC 2010 13:00 DEBENHAMS NEWSCOMMENTS

The big day is literally just around the corner, the culmination of months – or days – of planning and preparation. The presents are bought and wrapped and the food is in the fridge. But while you are relaxing with friends and family over the Christmas holidays, we at Debenhams will still be on hand ready to answer and solve any queries you have during the festive period. As you might expect, we’ll be off on Christmas Day but we’ll be back rested and excited to help first thing on Boxing Day.

There are a whole host of ways to get in contact with the team and they can all be found on the site here, but for simplicity the most frequently used ones have also been included below:

  • Store Customer Service – 08445 616 161
  • Online Customer Service – 0844 800 8877
  • Account Card Customer Queries – 0871 522 50 50

The phone lines close at 6pm on Christmas Eve and reopen at 9.30am on Boxing Day.

We at Debenhams wish you a fantastic and joy-filled holiday.

Merry Christmas!

I came into Debenhams on 16th December and opened an account, I was assured my card would be posted to me within one week, I understand Christmas was in between and some post has been disrupted but my new card has not arrived, my experience today has put my opinion of Debenhams stores as very low. I purchased an item today trying to use my (now out of date) temporary card, I explained to the assistant my new card has not arrived although the application went on 16th December – she refused to honour the temporary card and stated I also could not have the exrta 10% discount for Debenhams account holders.

My partner and I visited your restaurant in your Carlisle store on 28th December. It was very busy but I was very disappointed with the quality of the food and also the amount of uncleared tables. There was only one boy clearing tables and he was doing his best but was making no impression on them. I ordered a baked potato with beans. The potato was hard in places and likewarm, likewise the beans. My parner ordered cheseburger and chips and although the burger was hot, the few chips that were on the plate were barely warm. The cost of the whole meal which included 2 coffees was £14.60. In my opinion over the top for the quality of the meal. I realise that at this time of year it is really busy but the last time I visited your restaurant I was equally unimpressed and will not be visiting again. I am not the only one who thinks that the restaurant could be better. A number of friends also are of the same opinion as myself.

Please build a debenhams in Chippenham, Wiltshire!!!!!! we really need some competition, we only have dorothy perkins and new look and moving from my old home town Reading it was quite a shock of the lack of clothes store. Chippenham is a great commute for people as just in between bath and swindon. And not only that there is no where i can buy clinque makeup :( I miss you debenhems!!!! Chippenhem is a growing area im just hoping debenhems will come along soon.
