Debenhams Scoops prize at High Street Fashion Awards

Last week we donned our party dresses (and 1 bow tie) for an evening of entertainment and awards at the Comfort Prima High Street Fashion Awards 2011. We wanted to say a big thank you to readers of the magazine and our customers for voting our accessories the best on the High Street! We’ve added the award to our bursting trophy cabinet.
We were also highly commended in the categories for best department store, best jewellery and best occasion wear, phew! We’ve come home with awards and certificates galore and we’re really proud to be recognised by Prima and you, our customers.
Our very own Jeff Banks co-hosted the awards and was looking dapper as ever (have you seen his great suits videos on our website yet?). X Factor’s Joe McElderry performed at the event, getting plenty of attention from the ladies, but the evening wasn’t complete without a High Street fashion extravaganza on the catwalk, as models and dancers got dressed up in fashion must-haves from the nominated stores. We spotted plenty of Debenhams brands in the show, from everyday fashion to stunning occasion wear!
