Down the pub doesn’t mean look down and out

As the Great British Beer Festival ends for another year what better excuse to prove that going to the pub doesn’t have to mean slacking on the threads.
Going out to the local watering hole used to be the safe haven for would be darts champions and those looking for some “quiet time”.
Not anymore, pubs have become hubs of communities and with the advent of big screen sports being shown you need to look sharp to get noticed.
With that in mind, why not try this handy set?
We start with some classic Levi black canvas trainers. Not shoes but too smart for even for grumpiest bouncer to turn you away.
And while we’re talking about classic trainers, what look would be complete without a pair of tan straight leg chinos from Lee.
We’ve all been to a pub when it’s started to get busy, the temperature increases and the shirt you’re wearing makes you sweat. Get around that with a white slogan printed t-shirt by Wrangler.
Finally, the journey home – especially in the colder months, will require more than Dutch courage to keep you warm. Red Herring’s blue chunky cable knitted wool blend cardigan will not only do the job but look great in the process.
All this talk has got us thirsty. Pint?
