We headed down to the Worx studios in leafy Parsons Green to get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of our 70s inspired fashion shoot. Channelling all things hippie chic – a massive trend on the SS15 catwalks – the 70s boho vibe is all about flared jumpsuits, pretty crochet and make-them-stare tassels and fringing. Here’s a sneak peek:
Transporting us right back to the seventies, you can see the final images on Style Edit now. Expect bold prints splashed over long flowing maxi dresses, oversized floppy hats, stacks upon stacks of bangles and big big hair. Here’s a taster:
Meet the Model: Havi Mond
Ever wondered what it’s like to be a model? We caught up with our 70s boho model, Havi, in-between make up and lots of posing, to find out a little bit more about life as a model.
How did you get into modelling?
I was scouted in London when I was 16 but I went back home to Israel to finish school and do my National Service before I started modelling at 20.
What do you do in your spare time?
I’m a full time mum to a 3 year old boy which keeps me very busy most of the time. Otherwise I enjoy going to the gym and also visiting markets for fresh fruit and vegetables as I love to cook.
Where would we find you in London?
I really enjoy London’s bars and restaurants particularly Roca on North Audley Street. They do unbelievable food – Japanese and amazing meat.
Where’s your favourite place to travel?
I travel a lot with my job. I love going to Israel because that’s my home and generally prefer visiting hot countries. I really enjoyed Seville last week – it was lovely and warm.
How would you describe your style?
Casual as I like to be comfortable above everything else.
Who’s your style inspiration?
It would have to be Olivia Palermo – I love her style.
If you weren’t a model, what would you be doing?
I think I’d be doing something to do with cooking as that’s one of my passions.
Don’t forget to check out the amazing final images from the photo shoot on Style Edit.
