As HRH Prince Harry turns 30 today, we look back at how the royal redhead’s style has transitioned from cherub-faced youngster and boy of Eton and philanthropy, to stylish man about world.
Apparently, there was no big bash to date to commemorate the milestone, as Harry’s planned party was cancelled due to sister-in-law Kate’s severe morning sickness. He had invited close friends to a mini banquet tonight at Kate and Prince William’s newly refurbished apartment in Kensington Palace, but he contacted his guests and announced he felt it was inappropriate to carry on with the party in light of Kate’s illness. Ever-thoughtful, Harry always surprises – both in and out of the style stakes. In honour of the handsome Prince’s birthday, we look at some of our favourite Harry moments.
In 2003, Prince Harry was photographed on site at Eton College. Slightly baggy pinstriped trousers are an interesting look, and may we say, very Riot Club.
Leaving the Welsh country wedding of Amanda Kline and Royal Equerry Mark Dyer, Prince Harry wore a brightened up a formal look with a yellow waistcoat.
In what we believe to be one of the dapper Prince’s best looks, he opted for a pale linen suit while visiting a youth cultural show at the National Stadium, Nassau, Bahamas. More of this, please Harry.
From battling in Afghanistan to growing up in the public eye, to a seriously admirable amount of charity work and whole lot of polo-playing, Harry has done a lot in his 30 years. Happy birthday harry – whether 3-0 or 5-0, we know you’ll always be young at heart.
