We loved her maternity style when she was pregnant with Prince George and this time around the Duchess of Cambridge has not disappointed, becoming something of a pro at maternity dressing. We round up some of our favourite Kate Middleton maternity moments as she prepares for the second royal baby, and show you how to get the look.
One of our favourite looks has to be this pale blue coat she wore on a trip to the Kensington Aldridge Academy when she was six months pregnant. Possibly dropping a hint at the sex of her second baby, Kate went for a top-to-toe blue look, mixing different tones for head-turning style. The queen of pulling together an outfit perfectly, the dark blue court shoes and clutch bag she paired with her coat perfectly matched her dazzling sapphire engagement ring. Wondering what to wear underneath? Either go for a dress in a soft pastel shade or do as Kate did and wear a pretty floral dress.
Or is it pink for a girl? Kate certainly likes to keep us guessing. Attending the Commonwealth Service at Westminster Abbey, the Duchess showed off her growing bump in top-to-toe pastel pink. A regular fixture at the races and various friends’ weddings, Kate is the master of occasion dressing so it’s worth taking a leaf out of her very stylish book if you have a special occasion coming up.
