Made in Chelsea is back on our screens and we’re two episodes in already, but there’s one person we’ve been missing: Lucy Watson. After failing to appear in the second episode we started to worry she wouldn’t be returning but luckily Lucy’s confirmed she’ll be showing her face in the series soon.

In the meantime, we thought we’d have a look at what she’s been wearing and we loved this seventies inspired outfit she wore earlier this week. The reality TV star showed us how to translate the seventies trend into a wearable and effortless ensemble, that’s perfect for sunny weekends in the city. If you love her take on summer’s biggest trend, read on for tips on how to steal her look.

Unless you’ve been in hiding recently, you’ll know that the bohemian, Woodstock vibes of the seventies are back and cooler than ever. The hippie era appeared on the catwalk in all its guises, then at Coachella and now, even Made in Chelsea have adopted the retro inspired look. But you don’t have to delve into your mum’s closet to get your fashion kick, an easy way to introduce the trend into your wardrobe is by adding the coveted flares. Denim flares are universally flattering and are guaranteed to give any outfit a new season update. Simply add a blue and white striped top for a little colour and a nod to chic riviera style.

Tan accessories are key to completing the seventies inspired look, opt for tan platform wedges for a touch of nostalgia and a mini cross body bag for both practicality and style. Retro shades and a nude lipstick will ensure you’re ready for some summer loving.
