This October saw the return of the Coatwalk fashion spectacular presented by the Jacques Vert Group to help raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
This year the fashion event was held at the exquisite Grade II listed building at One Great George Street in the heart of Westminster. After admiring the stunning setting and enjoying a glass (or two) of bubbly, we entered the impressive Great Hall for the highly anticipated fashion show. Hosted by the glamorous newsreader, Natasha Kaplinsky, the event showcased the collection of new season coats from the Jacques Vert Group’s brands including Windsmoor, Planet, Precis Petite and Kaliko, and incorporated some fabulous choreography and musicians.
A grand finale saw mother and daughter celebrity pairs strutting down the runway modelling the new collection including Emilia Fox, Jo Wood, Alex Jones, Alice Beer and Imogen Thomas. Designed in Britain to the highest quality, this year’s collections were inspired by iconic style and classic trends giving them a timeless feel. With a focus on style and fit, the mother-daughter finale perfectly highlighted the fact that the coats look great whatever your age. We especially loved the stylish checked designs and faux fur trimmed capes.

Following the show we were treated to (more) champagne and canapés while browsing the new coat collection – lucky us! All in all it was a wonderful afternoon in support of an amazing cause.
