Fashion’s winners at the National Television Awards 2012
BY STYLE EDITOR, ON 26 JAN 2012 14:23 CELEBRITY & GOSSIPCOMMENTS
A bevvie of TV favourites descended on the red carpet last night for the National TV Awards. There were some true fashion hits and, as always, a few misses too, but one celeb trend that stood out was for dresses in blush and neutral tones. Check out all the best pics over here.
Our top pick was Fearne Cotton who looked stunning in a ’20s style Temperley beaded dress. Michelle Keegan, Sam Faiers and Jennifer Ellison all showed some glitz & glam with sparkling nude dresses. For Kerry Katona, Amy Childs and Carol Vorderman, it seemed it was all about the cleavage, with neutral dresses that flaunted their curves to the max. Michelle Collins and Charlie Brooks accessorised their gowns with feather and faux fur cover-ups while Angela Griffin and Lucy Mecklenburgh opted for soft shades of pink, looking fabulously feminine.
Get the look with our pick of neutral coloured dresses below…
For the guys, most opted for classic black tie dress, going for a white shirt and black suit with black tie or bow tie. But, there were a few who stood out from the crowd and updated their red carpet outfits with sheeny, shiny or metallic tailoring. Dave Berry went for sleek navy suiting and a black shirt, and Louis Spence was flamboyant as ever in a metallic, gunmetal blazer. Christopher Dean made a statement in shiny silver and Leigh Francis did top-to-toe gold – not a look for the faint-hearted! Kieron Richardson and Joey Essex added a splash of colour with red bow ties and TOWIE’s Harry Derbridge made his own statement in a pink shirt and white cravat.
Take a look at some of our top picks to add some shine to your suiting…
