For the parents out there – this is for you. With Father’s Day just days away, it’s time to think about where to enjoy a family day out. And, of course, the all important question – what are you going to wear?
For the boys
Perhaps a day out to the beach, or ball games in the park? No matter what your budget or your location, take your son somewhere special this year and make it a day he’ll remember.
Whatever you choose to do – we have carefully handpicked four outfits that we think are perfect for these different occasions…
For a day out playing football, we recommend this sweatshirt paired with these carrot leg jeans by Bluezoo. Finish it off with these cute little high tops for a casual laid-back look. This outfit would also be ideal for an afternoon of bowling or even a couple rounds of laser tag. We love this look because it is practical, stylish and won’t break the bank.
If the weather is warm, then a picnic in the park would be a fabulous way to spend Father’s Day. Try dressing your little man in this adorable dinosaur t-shirt and these shorts from Bluezoo. If you are likely to be playing games and kicking a football around, then comfortable shoes are an essential, so be sure to ensure your son is wearing these little trainers from Bluezoo.
Whether you love or hate theme parks – the truth is, most kids love them. Have a fun-filled day out at a fairground with your son. Even if you only manage to brave a couple trips on the tea-cups, make it an experience he’ll never forget by visiting the arcades and having a hot dog and fries in the sun. This Bluezoo sweatshirt and J by Jasper Conran shorts are perfect for keeping him warm on the rides whilst the Mantaray shoes will be sure to be comfortable for a long day out.
Treat your special little guy to some fish, chips and candy floss by the seaside for a Father’s Day you will both remember. Style him in this Mantaray t-shirt and denim shorts from Bluezoo for an easy to wear outfit – perfect for a day of building sandcastles and crab-fishing. Top it off with these Mantaray flip-flops.
Celebrate your special day with your son this year and have quality father-son bonding, for a day you will treasure forever (and why not treat him to a stylish new outfit too?)…
For the girls
If the boys are off enjoying Father’s Day playing sport then take the chance to spend some quality time with your little girl as well.
Whether your daughter wants to spend the day at home with mum baking or join the boys for a day of games in the park – we think Father’s Day is a good enough excuse to treat her to a fabulous new outfit.

For a day with dad – dress your little princess in this beautiful Baker by Ted Baker dress, perfect for a picnic in the park or a day on the beach. Pop on some cute little sandals from Bluezoo and throw on this denim jacket to keep her warm – whatever the weather.
Or does your little girl have the urge to be the next Mary Berry? Why not bake some chocolate chip cupcakes with your daughter to create a moment that she will never forget? For a relaxing day in the home, this Bluezoo playsuit is ideal. For a cool, casual look, treat your little girl to these Mantaray espadrilles.
And men, if you feel like you need a little time to yourselves to relax – then don’t feel bad about taking a couple hours to have a beer and relax with some friends. After all, being a dad can be stressful at times.
However you choose to spend the day – make sure you’re little ones look fabulous…
