Getting the most out of your New Year’s Eve dress

For this year’s party season we launched a new variety of party outfit – the 18 hour dress. We think it will work perfectly for New Year’s Eve. This year it falls on a Saturday and many of us will have daytime plans as well as evening ones. The 18 hour dress means you can go from lunch with friends to a party without having to buy a brand new dress.
Our £50 frock was created following revelations that 80% of women want dresses capable of taking them from the school run to work and on to a party. That’s an 18 hour day with just one dress. It makes sense to us too, us ladies can get glam without splashing out on lots of different dresses for every different occasion.
Cash-strapped women want ‘desk-to-dance-floor’ looks at great prices; the pressure on the purse due to the economic climate has resulted in this new breed of party dress. The trend is all about maximising cost-per-wear; the dress works from 7am to 1am and can be worn more than once. Putting on statement jewellery, high heels and bright lipstick is enough to take a dress from day to evening so you feel fabulous for less.
When asked to describe the perfect ‘18 hour dress’ our customers said…
- Not too short (work appropriate)
- Figure hugging/enhancing but not revealing too much cleavage
- Something you can wear a shirt underneath for work
- Appropriate with flats and party shoes
- Crease resistant
So whatever you are up to this New Year’s Eve during the day, be safe in the knowledge that you don’t have to buy a whole new outfit to take things to party status. Just opt for the 18 hour dress and you’ll look effortlessly stylish, day and night!
