When asked recently what his guiltiest pleasure was Gordon Brown replied, ‘Online shopping’. To quote Sex and the City’s Carrie Bradshaw, it got us to thinking: does the PM visit our lovely site and if so what does he purchase? We decided it was our civic duty to make a few suggestions …

This year the bow tie is back in a big way so a very cool bow tie in Labour red would be a very useful addition to his political wardrobe.

During what must be a very stressful campaign we’re sure a soothing and relaxing massage is something all the leaders could do with (some more than others judging by the debates!), and we offer a tranquil massage trip as part of our very popular gift experience range.

Speaking of debates, we think Britain’s Got Talent style buzzers would come in very handy for each of the leaders or maybe even the audience during the next televised discussion.

PS – When asked the same question David Cameron answered ‘A big fry-up’ while Nick Clegg went for ‘Smoking’.
