Red Carpet Style
Who doesn’t love a little bit of red carpet glamour? Last night The Golden Globes provided plenty of evening sartorial inspiration. Some of our favourite looks were courtesy of Brits, Sienna Miller and Joanne Froggat who both wore ethereal cream gowns. Our Hollywood favourite, Eddie Redmayne won the coveted Best Actor in a Drama Motion picture, while Boyhood was the film of the night. Look out for our round up of the best looks on the red carpet.
Must- See: The Ballet
It’s the final week to experience The English National Ballet’s acclaimed production of Swan Lake. As the last part of their tour, the production has come to The London Coliseum and you have just seven days left to enjoy the magical story. The show features some of the most beautiful costumes (and bodies) in the business- it’s a must see.
It’s just over ten days into January, but are you struggling with your detox already? Being healthy doesn’t need to be a bore with the latest mocktail bars. They have the ambience and atmosphere of a regular bar but with a list of delicious mocktails you can stay on track to a dry January. Try out Redemption in North Kensington, which was London’s first alcohol free bar. As they say ‘Spoil yourself, without spoiling yourself’.
Admire the Lights
If you’re not enjoying the darkness of winter, now the Christmas lights have been turned off, head to Light of Soho. The exhibition showcases the famous neon artwork of Chris Bracey. His illuminous signs have been featured in films, including Bladerunner, Eyes Wide Shut and even featured in a Vogue fashion shoot. The dazzling display borrows pieces from the artist’s gallery of signs- God’s Own Junkyard and can be enjoyed until this Sunday- you better be quick.
