From must-reads to must-buys, here is our list of everything you need to do, wear and see now.
New Season Colour
It may be a bit ‘brrrr’ outside, but we’ve got our minds set on floral dresses, hippie blouses and all things summer; let’s face it, it’s pretty unpractical to start embracing a lightweight dress in this weather, but you can start to integrate the summer trends by opting for the new season colour. Pastels are always on-trend for spring and this year lilac is our favourite. We’ll be snapping up shoes and bags in the pretty hue to help us feel a little spring in our step.
Indulge in Lingerie
After a month of cleansing our bodies and tightening our purse strings, we’re pining for a little self-indulgence. Our b.tempt’d range of lingerie will add a little flirtation to your knicker drawer, and is sure to satisfy your craving for something special. The ss15 range includes eye-catching colours and seductive lace designs, ensuring there’s a little piece for everyone to love. With Valentine’s Day just weeks away, it’s the perfect time to up the ante with your lingerie collection.
Play that Funky Music
Since Fleur East blew us away with a performance of Mark Ronson’s Uptown Funk on The X Factor, it’s been the song everyone’s been listening too. Some have referred to the track as the new ‘Happy’ (by Pharell) and it certainly makes us smile. Ronson’s highly anticipated album was released last week and we’re loving the sound of his funky music. Play it loud and you’ll be dancing around the room in no time.
Haute Couture Fashion
The rich, famous and fashionable have descended upon Paris for the most exclusive fashion event of the year – that’s right, Couture Fashion Week has begun. Over the next few days, the most desired bespoke fashion houses will show their creations at the five day spectacle – and we’ll be tracking their every move. With designers including Chanel and Christian Dior featuring in proceedings, there’s bound to be plenty of beautiful gowns, shoes and people to gawp at.
Harry Styles’ Birthday
On February 1 our favourite boy band star, Harry Styles, will turn 21. Since auditioning for The X Factor in 2010 our Harry has taken the world by storm, becoming a household name and making all the teen girls scream. Later this week, we’ll will be celebrating the handsome fella’s birthday with a special ‘Get the look’ in his honour – stay tuned.
Pay Day, Treat Day
January has been a long month, hasn’t it? After all that Christmas spending, we’ve been desperate to treat ourselves with our first payday of 2015. The latest arrivals will ensure you get the most out of your money; spend on Red Herring printed dresses to add colour to your winter wardrobe, or update your home for less with our new Collections Basics range – we love the lime green cushions for an instant pop of zesty colour. For more ideas on what to spend your pennies on, look out for our Editor’s ‘Pay Day Picks’ later on this week.
