While hanging out at Somerset House, we bumped into the lovely Adele who writes for Fashion for Lunch and has been catching lots of shows at London Fashion Week. We just had to give her a quick style Q&A…
Debenhams: What was the inspiration for your outfit today?
Adele: A bit Florence Welch, and a bit of a budget-friendly ode to all the Thirties dresses designers have been producing lately.
D: Which has been your favourite show at Fashion Week so far?
A: Probably Marios Schwab because even though a lot of the looks on the catwalk were very similar, the fitted netted dresses and sequin pieces peeking through were pretty superb to catch a glimpse of!
D: Who is the most stylish front-rower?
A: Susie Bubble always stands out and wears something refreshing, but yesterday I also saw Julia Restoin-Roitfeld and she was very well groomed with beautiful make-up – I have to admire the girls who put the effort in!
D: Which Designer at Debenhams best suits your style and why?
A: Jonathan Saunders because most of the time I prefer to mix colours and patterns rather than experiment with shape too much
D: Best London Fashion week moment ever?
A: Probably the time we went to the House of Holland after party last year on Brick Lane, so much dancing!
D: At Fashion Week, are you a high heels or a fancy flats girl?
A: Fancy flats! Or not even fancy usually, just Doc Martens. My feet are getting more and more sensitive each season…
