London Fashion Week Q&A: Reena of Fashion Daydreams

As we were dashing around at London Fashion Week we bumped into the ever-stylish Reena, a fabulous fashion blogger, so we stopped to ask her a few style questions. If you get the chance, do check out her blog Fashion Daydreams.
Debenhams: What was the inspiration for your outfit today?
Reena: My outfit wasn’t really inspired by anything, I fell in love with the tassled cape and planned the outfit around that. I decided to balance out the voluminous top half with super skinny jeans from J.Brand and some sculptural wedges from Carvela, sticking to a black colour palette to show off the fringing detail.
D: Which has been your favourite show at Fashion Week so far?
R: I really loved the Holly Fulton show, the bright yellows and blues are perfect for the summer season while the prints are so eyecatching. I also enjoyed Jasper Conran’s minimalist collection.
D: Who is the most stylish front-rower?
R: I’d have to say Hilary Alexander, she always makes an effort to support the designers who are showing. At Holly Fulton, she was wearing a fantastic body con dress from Holly’s current collection. Carine Roitfeld and Kate Lanphear also look great too.
D: Which Designer at Debenhams best suits your style and why?
R: I love the new RI collection by Roksanda Illincic, she’s retained her super-luxe style in this affordable range really well and the detailing is fabulous. The yellow applique dress is such a stand out piece and perfect for the party season. All of the collections are great though, I love H! by Henry Holland for its fun pieces and the accessories and homeware in the Butterfly by Matthew Williamson collection too.
D: Best London Fashion week moment ever?
R: Definitely Jayne Pierson’s show, she collaborated with knitwear designer Derek Lawlor and The Royal Ballet for the show which saw ballet dancers dancing down the catwalk. Very unique and very beautiful.
D: At Fashion Week, are you a high heels or a fancy flats girl?
R: Definitely a heels girl, despite the troublesome cobbles at Somerset House. I did give my feet a sneaky rest in flats yesterday though.
