If you hate the snow then you’ll probably be excited at the prospect of Spring and the new season fashion it brings – not to mention some warmer weather.
We recently held our SS11 press show where magazine editors, web editors and bloggers all head down to see what we’ve got in store for the coming season. I too headed along to get a sneak peek at the fabulous spring fashion and there are some really exciting pieces I’m saving my pennies for already.
Blogger: Disney Roller Girl‘s top pick
“I do love an updated classic so these Principles pieces both stood out for their neutral palette and arty check print. I think they’re extremely versatile and practical. The fabric is nice and thick so should be hardwearing and the skirt especially can be work-appropriate, weekend-appropriate or even party-appropriate!
For day I’d style the skirt with something off beat like a classic dark indigo jacket worn as a top (buttoned all the way up with sleeves pushed up) and accessorised with black beatnik-y sunnies and vintage Roger Vivier pointy pumps. The trench is just begging to be worn cape-style over the shoulders with a little black sweater, matching cigarette pants and loafers!”
Michelle who looks after the press for lingerie at Debenhams picked out a couple of her favourites for us. We love the retro bow print on the B by Ted Baker set on the left. There is a real vintage feel to lots of the lingerie coming into Spring/Summer 2011… I can’t wait.
When it comes to accessories everyone was getting excited about Faith shoes, well all the shoes in general really. Carie also showed us some top picks in swimwear which got me daydreaming of sandy beaches.
What are you looking forward to wearing in Spring 2011?
