BY STYLE EDITOR, ON 26 SEP 2011 12:01 DEBENHAMS NEWSCOMMENTS

Regular visitors to the Debenhams blog will notice a big change from today. We’ve given the blog a brand new look – it’s more colourful and has got some handy new features to make it easier to see all the latest content. We really hope you like it!
Take a look around and feel free to let us know what you think. If you spot anything you think we could improve then let us know about that too. You can leave a comment on this post or email us at blog@debenhams.com
Read on for some highlights of the changes…
New category navigation: We’ve added broader subject categories so you can view all posts within your favourite topics, whether that’s fashion, lifestyle, news or designers for example. You can still view posts within more specific categories by using the drop down menus. Simply hover your mouse over the top category links to see more options. A number next to that category tells you how many posts feature within it.
Featured posts: Visitors to the blog home page will see snippits of all the latest posts, but we’ve also got a featured posts area at the top of the page so we can be sure to let you know of anything that’s extra important or exciting, like competitions or giveaways. They’ll scroll automatically, or you can click the page numbers in the bottom left to skip to a particular post.
Get social: We’ve still got links to our Facebook and Twitter pages plus a handy email-sign up box so you can get the latest info on sales, offers and new launches. You can also see ‘Recommendations’ which are popular products from debenhams.com that other people or your Facebook friends have ‘liked’ on Facebook.
Debenhams TV: We’ve got a handy shortcut to some of the latest videos on Debenhams TV at the top of the sidebar so do check that out.

Popular content: You can see our most popular posts, latest comments and view our top post tags too. Simply use the tabbed box in the sidebar, as pictured left
New commenting system: You can now comment on the Debenhams blog using your Disqus, Twitter or Facebook profiles (see below). We’ve given you the freedom to choose how you interact with the blog and, as always, we love to read your comments.
