Lucky you! You can wear pretty much any foundation. You can choose your foundation based on the type of coverage you want; opt for sheer liquids and light reflecting particles for a light look. Or, use a heavier foundation on those days when you just want a little more coverage.

Dry skin is the trickiest skin for foundation, as foundation only highlights dry patches. However, there are plenty of moisturising foundations available which will help hydrate parched skin. Look for rich creamy formulas and remember to moisturise beforehand for a flawless finish.

Who says that you can’t wear foundation if you’ve got oily skin that’s prone to breakouts? Simply swap to a powder or mattifying foundation to ensure you stay shine free. For extra benefits, look for an anti-blemish formula to help ward of spots and prevent pores getting blocked.

Most people have combination skin, which means you’ve got a little bit of everything. You can get away with a powder or liquid foundation; simply change from a brush to a sponge to build more coverage in certain areas. Just make sure to look for formulas with a high water content.

Sensitive skin doesn’t have to be a nuisance, there are plenty of foundations which offer skin soothing benefits. Mineral based powders can be a great option for buildable coverage. Or, pick a serum based formula for a skin power boost.

Delicate skin needs extra attention as foundation can sit in fine lines and look cakey. To prevent this, avoid powders or formulas that dry to a powdery finish. A water based foundation that is lightweight will look the most natural and will give skin a plump and youthful appearance.
