Join us in our ‘New Year, New You’ skincare challenge

After too much partying and indulgence this last month, the Debenhams Beauty team will be taking part in a 3 week skincare challenge to help us rejuvenate and prepare our skin inside and out ready for another full-on beautiful year.

We’d love for you to help us get inspired and join us on the challenge!

To help make it easier to stick to, we’ll be posting tips and recommendations to keep you going throughout January. How long you do it for is up to you! We’ll be kick starting on Monday 11th for 3 weeks.

Here are our basic challenges that will leave you feeling beautiful and rejuvenated by the end of the month:

1. Do the full cleanse, tone and moisturise routine every day with a recommended routine for your skin type. Value starter kits are a great way to try something new that won’t break the bank.

2. Treat yourself to a post hangover/ party season mask.

3. Keep some cotton wool and cleanser by your bed to make sure you do your routine even on nights where you may have gone to bed and forgotten (or drunken nights out!)

4. Drink at least eight glasses of water every day.

5. Store your eye gel/eye patches in the fridge and apply once a week to de-puff.

6. Moisturise from head to toe 2 x a week.

7. Apply at least factor 15 SPF moisturiser every day.

8. Whip up a skin booster detox drink once a week – using your favourite fruit and vegetables.

9. Exfoliate your face and body at least once a week.

10. Throw out all your expired skincare products.

11. Have a no digital bedroom rule – help prevent wrinkles by reducing the strain on eyes from looking at a screen all day!

12. Have a make-up free day once a week

13. Master the double-cleansing using a face oil at least once a week.

14. Give your neck a skin care treatment.

15. Clean your make up brushes 2 times this month.
