Steal His Style: Channing Tatum

His latest movie, Foxcatcher, is released in UK cinemas today but, when it comes to looking good, there’s only one fox we’re interested in catching; hello Channing Tatum.

Whether he’s working the cool and casual vibe or coming over all dashing and dapper for a red carpet event, Hollywood’s hottest leading actor always looks exactly that: hot to trot. And this opinion isn’t solely based on his chiselled good looks – honest.

Hailed by industry insiders for his performance in Academy Award nominated Foxcatcher, today we praise him for a different skill  – his sense of style.

On Duty

Papped at the Foxcatcher photocall at The 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival, Channing’s professional attire was completely on point. For a guy who tends to typically opt for the classic tux or staple three-piece suit more often than not, we love the more ‘smart/casual’ look he opted for on this particular day.

Get the look with a navy suit and lighten the ensemble with a pale blue shirt – blue hues tends to beautifully contrast when mixed together. Tan brogues are your best bet for shoes – we love the way the classic summer shade stands out against the dark navy tone of the suit.

Style note: Add a spring/summer element to any suit by selecting a shirt with a discreet floral mix. Not just for girls, we’re sure Channing is secure enough in himself to flirt with men’s floral prints. The question is, are you?

Off Duty

Forget ‘White House Down’, we love it when Channing dresses down; as much as we love a good looking guy in a suit, we love one who can pull off braces even more. There’s just something so ‘old school/Bugsy Malone’ about it – and that’s always a good thing.

Snapped arriving at Los Angeles International Airport, Channing teamed grey woollen mix trousers with a striped jersey top. Simple enough, but the trilby and braces took it to a whole other level on the sartorial scale. With a canvas-style man bag hooked over his shoulder, the travel chic look was complete. Wife Jenna was also at his side and (for once) we actually felt sorry for her. After all, can you imagine competing with your husband in the style stakes?

If we were her we’d lock him up and keep him indoors… Actually, who are we kidding? It’s Channing Tatum, People magazine’s ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ 2012. If he was our husband, we’d lock him up anyway and keep him all to ourselves.

So beware boys. Steal Channing’s style and you could end up resembling a man renowned for his talent and irresistible sex appeal. Now that’s a look that’s surely worth getting involved with.
