Healthy juice and smoothie recipes

Well, here we are again, the start of a brand new year full of possibilities and new adventures. Start off your new year the right way by undoing all the damage you did at Christmas, so wake up and shake up and get your body moving. Gone are the mince pies and mulled wine, its time to kickstart the new year the right way. We have found some delicious and nutritious smoothie and juice recipes that are sure to cure your January blues.

Super berry smoothie

Think pink with this berrylicious smoothie, the perfect pick me up for those dark January mornings. To recreate this smoothie just:

  • Add raspberries, blueberries and peaches into a blender
  • Add some almond milk (or any milk alternative)
  • Finally put in some ice and blend until smooth and enjoy.

Green machine

This vibrant smoothie sure does pack a punch, its packed full of all the best nutrients to keep you fighting off that winter cold. To make this smoothie:

  • Blend together spinach, fresh ginger, kiwi, chia seeds
  • Add banana and greek yoghurt get that creamy, thick texture we all love
  • Then pour in some coconut water and ice
  • Blend together until smooth and creamy

Vitamin C booster

This super immunity booster is the epitome of health, its packed with antioxidants, vitamin A and C and its easy on the eye. It will bring a little bit of sunshine on a rainy day. For this juice, you will need to:

  • Blend together fresh ginger, apple, orange, lemon and banana, with ice
  • Serve with fresh orange slices (if you like)

Greek hulk juice

This super green juice is the healthiest of the bunch, its packed full of the best fruit and vegetables to help boost your immune system as well as to combat that post Christmas bloat. No juice cleanse is complete without this green guy.

  • Add mango, spinach, kale, ginger, into a blender with some banana
  • Add any milk of your choosing and some protein powder (if you’re trying to get those gains)
  • Blend with some ice for and drink
