London Fashion Week: Street Style Round Up

Whist you may think that all eyes are on the catwalks during fashion week, the streets of Soho prove that you need to look no further to find outfit inspiration from LFW’s stylish attendees. Here’s our favourite street style picks:

ELLE UK’s fashion assistant was spotted looking super chic with in a luxe cream jacket, featuring statement sleeves. Pairing it with a pair of simple yet classic jeans, she finished off her look with on-trend heeled mules.

Sleeve detailing is proving to be a huge hit this season, as worn by Lidia Misev, and not to mention that the cold shoulder trend is also here to stay – as seen on many of the SS17 runway shows. Opt for a statement top like this as it will allow you to keep all the rest simple.

Sporting the athleisure trend to London Fashion Week this September was the always-fabulous Olivia Palermo who wore a subtle colour combination of dark emerald green, navy blue and red. Dress like Olivia and pair a cool pair of striped trousers with chic court shoes.

Stylist Kate Foley displayed her maximalist style with bold prints and structured fabrics this season. Brightening up the streets of London with splashes of red, yellow, green and orange, we love her September style.

Fur statement coats were all over the runway for autumn/winter, and what better way to keep warm and brighten up the rainy weather at Fashion Week? Susie Bubble turned heads in this candy pink faux fur coat from Shrimps.

Pernille Teisbaek kept it cool and casual, pairing a white tee and denim skirt with an on-trend red velvet blazer – the perfect transitioning autumn wardrobe piece.

We spotted InStyle’s Hannah Lewis showing off her effortlessly chic style outside the Preen by Thornton Bregazzi show. Her black stitched raw-hem maxi dress was paired with simple yet vibrant slip-ons and a colourful miniature bag.

Want to know how to style this season’s major ruffle trend? Opt for a statement ruffle piece, just like Camille Charriere’s navy knee-length skirt and add a pop of colour to give your outfit the perfect stand out element.
