Steal their Style: Made in Chelsea

With the return of Made in Chelsea earlier this week, our summer has been extended just that little bit longer as we watched our favourite Chelsea stars jet set off to Los Angeles.

Soaking up the sun – and looking as glamorous as ever whilst doing so – episode one made us remember exactly what we love about the cast in the first place. The intrigue, the drama, the suspense… and the fashion. So, as an extra ‘Steal their Style’ Friday special, we’ve stolen the wardrobe essentials from 4 of the originals…

Spencer Matthews shows us exactly how to achieve his charming Chelsea boy look by pairing a neatly fitted sky blue shirt and with a knitted jumper, taking preppy style to the next level. Sticking to his roots, the Made in Chelsea patriarch kept the look clean cut and simple by adding a pair of black skinny’s and (ironically) Chelsea boots.

The fierce Lucy Watson isn’t afraid of taking risks when speaking her mind – and this is no different when it comes to her fashion sense, mixing her tomboyish style with effortless touch of chic. Taking a floral favourite summer dress, Lucy makes it her own with an oversized denim jacket – perfect for when summer nights being to reveal an autumnal chill. Dressed up with a pair of blue strappy heels, this unusual trio combine to create a ‘thrown together’ look and feel, a casual cool look perfect for both day and night.

The ultimate cheeky chap, Jamie Laing has swapped his usual low cut shirts for a simple longline tee teamed with summer’s ‘must have’ bomber jacket. Known to be a lover of leopard print, the McVities’ heir has toned down his usual style, instead opting for a look we feel works well during these transitional months. With the addition of suede boots, this look ticks all the boxes when it comes to SW3 styling.

Bubbly brunette Binky Felstead has got casual styling down to a tee, especially in this simple two-tone ensemble. A fashion favourite, there’s nothing classic and simple than throwing on a pair of black skinny jeans, matching top and an oversized bag. Work together neutral tones, just like Binky, by pairing it with a block trench and matching heeled sandals, or swap with boots for rainy days. Make this look last until next spring by adding a classic black fedora –  a look worthy of strolling Chelsea’s stylish streets.
