Christmas cocktails

We are full of Christmas spirit this year and that’s all thanks to the wonderful gin from our Eden Mill pop-up stores. We have joined forces to give you some fun, festive and fabulous cocktail recipes guaranteed to keep you dancing into the New Year. Whether you’ve been naughty or nice there’s no better way to celebrate Christmas than being surrounded by friends and family while sipping on a delicious Christmas cocktail.

Christmas spritz

This is the perfect Christmas party staple, impress your friends by recreating this sparkling jewel-toned tipple. Prosecco, gin, and strawberries, what’s not to love?

  • Pour 25ml candy cane Christmas gin over ice
  • Add 25ml Eden Mill strawberry and black pepper gin liqueur
  • Top with prosecco to taste
  • Garnish with fresh strawberries

The rhubarb & gingerbread bellini

This is Christmas in a cocktail! The gentle heat from the ginger compliments the tart taste of rhubarb to create the perfect Christmas tipple.

  • Add rhubarb and ginger gin into an ice-filled glass
  • Add a drop of gingerbread syrup and a splash of cranberry
  • Shake well with the ice
  • Strain into a glass and top with prosecco
  • *Garnish with a little gingerbread man* (not essential, but lovely)

Christmas gin-Manhattan

This classic cocktail is smooth and uplifting with that perfect contrast of sweetness and bitter chocolate, you are sure to have a merry Christmas this year.

  • Add 35ml candy cane Christmas gin, 15ml sweet vermouth and 2 dashes of chocolate bitters to a mixing glass filled with ice
  • Stir until cold
  • Strain into a martini glass
  • Garnish with grated chocolate

Jack Frost cocktail

This striking blue cocktail is giving us some serious jack frost feels, it’s also incredibly alcoholic and perfect for party season.

  • Add 50ml tequila blanco to 30ml sweet vermouth
  • Mix with 14 ml sugar syrup, 14ml lemon juice and 7ml blue curacao (or blue colouring and triple sec)
  • Add a dash of absinthe (if you can get your hands on it, and are brave enough)
  • Shake, strain and pour over ice
  • (Garnish with shaved coconut for a more jack frost feel)

Candy cane collins

Put your sweet tooth to the test with this candy floss inspired number, guaranteed to get your taste buds tingling. You’ll be the envy of everyone at the office Christmas party!

  • Fill a glass with ice
  • Add 35ml candy cane gin, 25ml fresh lemon juice, 15ml sugar syrup
  • Shake and strain into a glass
  • Top with soda water
  • Garnish with candy floss
