Released today for the first time is the eagerly anticipated James Bond film, Spectre. With Daniel Craig as the lead, the film will see 007 travel to Mexico City and Rome with the intention to stop the sinister existence of the organisation Spectre.  Time to book your tickets… we’re predicting it will be a serious sell-out.

From the Mediolanum stadium Forum in Milan last night the 22nd MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs) took place. Hosted by British musical favourite Ed Sheeran and Australian actress Ruby Rose; the night saw amazing performances from stars such as Justin Bieber, Jess Glynne, Tori Kelly and Pharrell Williams. Bieber was the clear winner of the night taking home 5 awards including ‘biggest fans’ and ‘best look’.

Congratulations are in order for this celebrity couple who have excitingly revealed they are expecting their first baby. Chrissy made the announcement to the public via her Instagram account (@chrissyteigen)  with the delightful caption, “We can’t wait to bring our first child into the world and grow our family” as well as saying she’s looking forward to all the belly touching – can we get an ‘ahhhh’.

‘Hello’ by Adele

Super songstress Adele surprised fans late last week by releasing the first song from her much-anticipated album ‘25’ which comes out on 20th November. The hit song ‘Hello’ has already made it straight to number one on iTunes and could post the largest ever U.S digital sales, according to industry sources. In time with the new 007 release, Adele’s new song and album mark her return to music since recording the infamous ‘Skyfall’ in 2012.

Oxford Street Christmas Lights

Closely following this Saturday’s Halloween activities, Sunday will mark the beginning of the festive season and what better way to get into the yuletide spirit than going to the official turning on of Oxford Street’s Christmas lights. Expect thousands of snow-ball like decorations, silver light bulbs and golden baubles to illuminate the high street alongside special offers in stores and even celebrity appearances and performances.

Night Tales Presents Tokyo Nights

An eight week celebration of London’s finest cocktails and cuisine, the team at Background Bars bring the pop up food and drink event, Night Tales to the city for its third annual instalment. This year’s offering, dubbed ‘Tokyo Nights’, will transform Red Market space in Shoreditch into a buzzing, neon-lit recreation of the busy streets in the Japanese capital. Expect plenty of Japanese-inspired delights including sake and sushi, as well as all the usual offerings from street food and restaurant vendors such as Patty & Bun, Bubbledogs and Nanny Bill’s. Night Tales at 288-299 Old Street opens on 29th October.
