Ready, Set, Serve!

That’s right, it’s time to pop the champagne and indulge in British strawberries and cream, as Wimbledon commences this week. Whether you’re a full time tennis addict or just love the British summer atmosphere, the event has a little something for everyone. Look to the queen of the TWAGS (tennis wives and girlfriends), Kim Sears, for inspiration on what to wear for the sporting event of the season.

Portraits of an Icon

Inevitably, the British summer will include a few showers so it’s always good to have an indoor back up plan for weekends. We’ll be heading to the latest Audrey Hepburn retrospective, Portraits of an Icon, at The National Portrait Gallery for style inspiration from the most beautiful fashion icon. Showcasing photographs from her early years to her most famous portraits, the exhibition is a must-see.

National Bikini Day

Grab your best bikinis ladies, as this week we’ll be celebrating National Bikini Day and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than with this week’s heatwave. Whether you’re heading to the coast or sitting in the garden with a BBQ, it’s finally time to pull out the swimwear. For bikini style inspiration, look out for our mix and match guide on Style Edit later this week.

Henley Royal Regatta

Another event to add to your sporting calendar this summer is the Henley Regatta, which kicks off on Wednesday. If you’re planning on attending the traditional event, make sure you’re dressed to impress. The only rule is that hemlines must sit below the knee and whilst hats are not part of the dress code, it’s customary for ladies to wear a summer headpiece. This gingham two piece and floppy hat will ensure you’re dressed to the nines.
