Monday Musings: Things we’re loving this week…

From must-reads to must-buys, here is our list of everything you need to do, wear and see now.

With many sporting the paper poppy or shiny red pin for Remembrance Day we’re feeling inspired by the beautiful poppy. The vibrant red colour will brighten up the darkest of days, try this Wallis coat for an effortless update to your winter wardrobe.

If you’ve seen our Christmas ad you’ve probably noticed #Foundit. In collaboration with #Foundit we’re offering you the chance to win £1,000 every week in the run up to Christmas. Simply upload a selfie to our gallery with your fabulous #Foundit purchase.

With the Oxford Street light switch on last week and Christmas windows lighting up the high streets it really is beginning to feel a lot like Christmas. We’re embracing the festive season with an ice skating session at Somerset House. All you need is a faux fur stole and cable knit mittens to keep you warm and stylish on the ice.

Brigitte Bardot is well known for being one of the most popular sex symbols of the 1950s and 1960s. In honour of her 80th birthday a new book was released November 6. The book named ‘Brigitte Bardot: The Life, The Legend, The Movies’ documents her entire life in beautiful photographs. We can’t wait to get our hands on a copy.

It’s officially the beginning of the festive season with many of the stunning Christmas lights dazzling and sparkling over the next few weeks. This week we’re heading down to Regent Street in London for the Christmas show, switch on and firework display.

The acclaimed Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition is back in London town. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the gallery, this year’s exhibtion will also display some of the most iconic historic images. Showcasing the most creative and fascinating photographs of animals and creatures, it’s a must-see.

If animals aren’t really your thing then head to the new Andy Warhol exhibition in Liverpool. ‘Transmitting Andy Warhol’ brings together more than 100 artworks by the infamous Pop Artist. The exhibition has just opened so make sure you get there before the crowds.
